Three students from the Georgetown University were given a warm hearted send off on Friday, 9th December, 2016 by the Director and Staff of the Dodowa Health Research Centre.
Ms. Irene Honam Tsey who mentored the interns expressed the pleasure for hosting them on the Centre’s behalf. She as well as other staff of the Centre urged the students to strive hard to achieve their goals and further encouraged them to forge ahead to improve their research work.
They were also encouraged to share their final work with the Centre and wishing them well in their subsequent endeavours.
Dr Margaret Gyapong, Director of the Centre, gave her remarks and commended them for completing their work ahead of time. She assured them of her full support whenever they needed it and wished them a safe flight back to school.
The three ladies were presented with souvenirs as a parting gift from the centre.
Finally, the ladies showed their appreciation and shared their sentiments on the warm reception they received during their stay.They expressed their gratitude to management of DHRC for their enormous support and the time they forfeited in aiding them to work on their projects.
